A few new plans

Today is the last working day for 2007! I have to say I made some money mistakes this year. Not bringing my own lunch to work has cost me hundreds of dollars this year. Just like a lot of other people, I go over my budget at the grocery store and on lunches. I guess I underestimate myself on how much I DO eat. So one of my goals to be added to my list for 2008 is to stay within the budget on groceries, and bring brown bag lunches to work.

    We have the same goal. My mom told me that the price of groceries have gone up 52% in the last year. So, you might be just paying more for the same things.

    I, too, eat lunch out too often or eat in the cafeteria here at work, which is insanely overpriced. Brown bagging is a good goal to have. I want to work on being a smart shopper--reading ads, clipping coupons, etc.

    My husband takes his lunch every day. It has saved us a fortune.
